Frank Doherty
Frank Doherty’s short stories and essays have appeared in Creative Nonfiction, WLA Journal, Vietnam to Western Airlines, Afterwords, the journal of the Veterans Writing Workshop, O-Dark-Thirty, the journal of the Veterans Writing Project, and Bark, published by the International Bird Dog Association. Francis served as a captain in the U.S. Army and was a reconnaissance pilot over the Ho Chi Minh Trail during the Vietnam War. He then flew as a commercial pilot for Western and Delta Airlines for thirty-two years. He is currently a member of the Westport Writers Workshop.
His memoir Only the Light Moves was published by Pen and Sword Books/Casemate Publishers in Fall 2023.
