Seymour Chwast
A creative genius of design and illustration, Seymour Chwast is a founding father of the celebrated Push Pin Studios (now Pushpin Group). His work has been featured in The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Wall Street Journal, Vanity Fair and The Atlantic, among others. He produced a series of graphic novel adaptations with Bloomsbury Press including Dante’s Divine Comedy (2010), The Canterbury Tales (2011), and Homer’s Odyssey (2012). His work has been exhibited and collected in museums such as New York’s MoMa, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Centre Pompidou (Paris), and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs (Louvre), among others. A recently published book of his posters, titled Poster Man, was displayed at his exhibit entitled The Pushpin Legacy at The Poster House Museum in New York City.
Seymour has a number of forthcoming children’s books.
