Sue DiCicco Smith
Sue DiCicco Smith was one of the first female animators at Disney and is the author-illustrator of many beloved storybooks for children, including Super Hero Potty Time, Princess Potty Time, You Are My Work of Art, The Complete Story of Sadako Sasaki and the Thousand Paper Cranes, and numerous Disney and Sesame Street novelty books. She is also a sculptor and the founder of Armed with the Arts and the Peace Crane Project. Born in Southern California, she attended Cal Arts, then worked for Disney and other studios as an animator before opening her own studio. She now lives in Santa Barbara, California.
